Golang Job Details

Our client is a growing marketing and advertising tech company with a national reach. They are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. Preference is to hire someone who will work EST or CST hours.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain ad server applications using C#
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features
  • Optimize existing code and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team
  • Contribute to the architectural decisions and design discussions
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in Ad Tech: Proven experience working with ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, or other ad tech platforms preferred
  • Proficiency in C#: Strong coding skills and experience in developing applications using C#
  • Golang Experience: Familiarity with Golang and the ability to write and maintain code in Golang
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Cloud Platforms: Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • APIs: Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on C#
  • Experience in the ad tech industry or working on ad server projects preferred
  • Familiarity with Golang is a plus
